• Cochleanthes Raf.;Zygopetalum

ラン科 【属名】コクレアンテス属 [Cnths.]; cochleanthes エピデンドルム亜科マクシラリア連ジゴペタルム亜連。14種があり、メキシコから熱帯アメリカに広く分布する。中形の着生ラン。花茎は腋生し、1花をつける。花は香りがあり、やや肉質白色で、青または紫色を帯びる。ジゴペタルム(Zygopetalum)に近縁で、コンドロリンカ(Chondrorhyncha)に含められることもある。

ラン科 コクレアンテス・アロマティカ コスタリカ・パナマ産。花は香りがあり、開張して径5～8cm、淡黄緑色で、唇弁は濃紫色に縁が白色。花期は夏～秋。

ラン科 コクレアンテス・フラベリフォルミス fanshape orchid 西インド諸島・メキシコ～ブラジル産。花は径約7.5cm、芳香があり、ろう質で特に唇弁は肉厚だがやや短命。白色で、唇弁の縁は紫紅色。花期は夏～秋。

ラン科 コクレアンテス・マルギナタ パナマ・ベネズエラ・コロンビア・エクアドルに分布。花は芳香があり、径4～5cm、白色で、唇弁は縁が淡い菫色で中央に濃紫色の筋が入る。花期は夏～秋。
