シソ科 グラウンド・アイビー ground ivy; ale hoof; ale ivy; ivy; field balm; alehoof; groundivy; haymaids; gill over the ground; runaway robin 匍匐して拡がる常緑多年草。全体から強い香りを発する。葉は対生し腎臓型で鋸歯がある。直立した花茎の葉腋に、青紫色の唇形花がつく。
