Extra characters (&#) are allowed in the search together with special letters '_' (any one letter) and '%' (any string).

Based on Extension:Wildcard search.

Installtion

1. Download the source code and rename it to MySQLLikeSearch.php.
2. Place it in the extensions/ directory.
3. Insert the follow lines to LocalSettings.php
